The course objective is to enhance students' understanding of production and competition in agricultural world markets. Students will analyze production agriculture (a typical farm or ranch), business and trade in Spain and compare them with respect to the U.S. Pre-departure orientation will familiarize students with the history culture, politics, geography, soils, agriculture, economy and trade of Spain.
3 credits of Agron 496 or Econ 496 (1-2 credits in AGRON 496 + 1-2 credits in ECON 496 to total 3 credits)
