Why did you choose to participate in these study abroad programs? I wanted to go to another place with my friends from college and go to learn and not just have fun, but the fun was a great added benefit as well.
In what ways did this experience contribute to your personal, professional, and/or academic growth? It grew my knowledge and opened my eyes to other cultures, and how people in other areas of the world live, speak, interact with one another, and eat. It allowed me to connect my school classes with the practical hands on application of it.
What was your most memorable experience abroad? We got to eat Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant on the Tasman Sea in New Zealand.
What advice do you have for students interested in studying abroad? Do It! Just go, the experience is well worth the money.
