Jodi Cornell

Jodi Cornell (he/him), Director of CALS Study Abroad.  Jodi has worked in the CALS Study Abroad office in various roles since 2004.  He advises faculty interested in creating and leading study abroad programs, assisting with the process, protocols and paperwork involved in administering faculty-led travel courses.  Jodi is also the exchange coordinator for semester-long and summer exchange programs in CALS.  He is also a liaison and advocate for international students in CALS.  Jodi serves on several college and university-wide committees, including the CALS Staff Council as the Networking and Social Chair.

Jodi earned his BA in Political Science and Russian at Iowa State, and studied abroad at the National Agriculture University of Ukraine in Kyiv, Ukraine for a semester on an ISU CALS exchange program.  Jodi served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine for three years, and worked on a US government-funded high school exchange program also in Ukraine.  He earned his MA in Political Science/Global Politics from Iowa State.  Jodi enjoys traveling internationally and domestically, and spending time with friends and family.
