Traveling really pushes you outside your comfort level and puts many things into perspective that you otherwise would have never experienced.
Why did you choose to lead a study abroad program?
I love to travel and be able to experience different cultures and places. I want to be able to share that love and passion with students especially to those who have never really traveled before.
What is unique about your study abroad destination(s)? Why do you want to take students to this country?
We get to spend a good amount of time at the American Farm School learning from various faculty and industry professionals in Agriculture. We also get to spend time with Greek students to compare experiences and learn from one another. The amount of history that Greece holds is astounding and at the forefront of that is leaders in agriculture who literally built the country from the ground up!
Give an example of your favorite city, tour, tradition, or activity included within your program itinerary.
Being able to experience the monasteries on the cliffs in Meteora. It is seriously jaw dropping and a truly awe-inspiring experience. I have never seen anything like it in the world and I am so excited to be able to go back and see it through the eyes of others.

Why should students study abroad?
You learn so much about yourself when you travel and immerse yourself into other cultures and life styles. Traveling really pushes you outside your comfort level and puts many things into perspective that you otherwise would have never experienced.
