Dean's Global Agriculture & Food Leadership Program to Rome
There is no better way to learn about the world than visiting it!

Students at the Colosseum in RomeWhy do you choose to lead study abroad program(s)?

Seeing the "A-Ha" moment when things click for a student is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. There are a lot of "A-Ha" moments during a study abroad program!

What is unique about your study abroad destination(s)? Why do you want to take students to this country?

This program allows students to participate in real-world projects with the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organization which is headquartered in Rome, Italy. Rome is a beautiful and historic but also dynamic modern city. There is so much for students to do there.

Give an example of your favorite city, tour, tradition, or activity included within your program itinerary.

The program has a three-day excursion to the Tuscany region to experience local food and agriculture. Among the scenic views, students learn about food traditions, sample exceptional products and meet the farmers who produce them.

Why should students study abroad?

There is no better way to learn about the world than visiting it!
