Application Deadline:

Vietnam is a country rich in natural resources and culture. Vietnam is characterized by unique ecosystems, including mountainous, agrarian landscapes; diverse forested ecosystems; expansive deltas; and coastal mangroves, wetlands, and reefs. These Vietnamese ecosystems boast some of the richest biodiversity in the world. Culturally, Vietnam is well-known for its indigenous cultures, including influences from China. Vietnam is also home to eight UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Cat Ba and Hoi An.

This 16-day study abroad trip will explore Vietnam! The trip will include 8 days in northern Vietnam, near Hanoi, and will include rural, cultural experiences, hiking and boating in Cat Ba National Park, and visiting the urban Hanoi. Following an overnight train, we will spend 3 days near Hoi An to visit several historical locations, interact with multinational corporations, and participate in a service activity on coastal erosion. The final leg of our trip will be near Ho Chi Minh City, where we will experience the local Mekong Delta ecosystems and its associated agriculture, a business accelerator, and a partner university.

This program was offered for the first time in 2024.
